Bryan, Underwood lead American Music Award nominations
Tuesday, October 9, 2012 – Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood received two American Music Award nominations, which were announced Monday.
Bryan is up for Favorite Male Artist along with Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
Underwood was nominated on the female side along with Miranda Lambert and Taylor Street.
Favorite Band, Duo or Group nominees were Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts.
Bryan was nominated for Favorite Album for "tailgates & tanlines" as was Underwood for "Blown Away" and Lionel Richie for "Tuskegee.
The awards will be handed out Nov. 18. Fans can vote for their candidates online.
