Aldean riding "Night Train" to the top
Thursday, October 18, 2012 – Jason Aldean looks to be riding the "Night Train" all the way to the top.
At least that's the preliminary word from Billboard. The disc, Aldean's fifth, looks to be the number one selling disc in the U.S. when the charts are out officially in one week. Billboard said "industry sources" indicated the disc would hit about 400,000 units in sales. This would be Aldean's first number one and be the second biggest debut of the year behind Mumford & Sons' "Babel," which sold 600,000 units.
Chances are that Aldean's reign will be very short lived because Taylor Swift is out with "Red" next week.
