Gilbert, Kramer get engaged

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 – Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are engaged.

People reported that the couple become engaged on Monday at the Ryman, which Gilbert rented out for the day. Monday also happened to be Gilbert's 28th birthday.

"We could not be happier!" the couple told People in a statement from their rep. "We are so excited to share this special time with our loved ones and cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together."

Gilbert and Kramer have dated for about one year.

"I was so surprised!" admits Kramer, 29. "He asked my mom for permission before he proposed, which meant a lot to me."

This will be the second marriage for Kramer, who had ah it last year with Why Ya Wanna.

The definitive Platinum Edition contains 19 tracks that feature his trademark rock inflected country sound. The original 11 tracks are still intact, with the addition of the 3 songs from the original deluxe edition. Added on at the end are five new songs that largely fit well with the tone of the album. Those who originally purchased the regular edition ...
