– The Band Perry captured the top of the Billboard Country Songs chart for the week ending Feb. 2 with Better Dig Two.
The trio went from third to first, displacing Cruise from Florida Georgia Line , which fell to fourth. Taylor Swift's "Red" stayed atop the Country Albums chart.
Gary Allan was second on the songs chart with Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain),, up from fourth. Hunter Hayes was third with Wanted. Jason Aldean's latest hit, The Only Way I Know, with Luke Bryan and Eric Church was fifth.
Newcomer Kerry Musgraves hit single, Merry Go 'Round was16th, up 3. Swift also was up 3 to 17 with Begin Again. Tip It On Back from Dierks Bentley climbed from 22 to 18. Lee Brice also was up 4, to 20th, with I Drive Your Truck. Darius Rucker broke into the top 25 with Wagon Wheel jumping from 32 to 25.
On the album chart Florida Georgia Line was second with "Here's to the Good Times." The "Nashville: The Music of Nashville" soundtrack was third followed by Little Big Town's "Tornado" in fourth and Aldean's "Night Train" in fifth.
Katie Armiger debuted in seventh with "Fall Into Me." Rascal Flatts' "Changed" went from 18 to 15. Bentley was at 23 with "Home," up 6. Jana Kramer was 29th, up 4, with her self-titled debut. "Punching Bag" from Josh Turner stood at 37, up 6.
On the Bluegrass Albums chart, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out remained first with "Timeless Hits From the Past." Trampled By Turtles was second with "Stars and Satellites," while Old Crow Medicine Show was third with "Carry Me Back." Punch Brothers were fourth with "Who's Feeling Young Now?" "The Goat Rodeo Sessions" from Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile was fifth.
On the overall top 200, Swift was 4th, Florida Georgia Line 18th, the "Nashville" soundtrack 24th, Little Big Town 24th and Aldean 27th.
