Bryan wins biggest honor
Bryan seemed shocked and was overcome with emotion once his name was announced. He doubled over and was crying right away. Bryan came to the mic, but was unable to speak for a little while, still crying. The crowd was yelling "Luke."
Bryan then composed himself and gave a very heartfelt speech. "This is...ah...I don't know what to say guys," he said. "Thank you guys so much. Fans for doing this to me. Thank you so much for making my life what it is, What I always wanted to be was a country singer that showed up on a tour bus...and played music every night."
"Every time I set on stage it is a blessing for me to play for fans," he said. "This is defining moment of my life. It means so much, and I will never take it for granted."
Bryan beat out out tough competition: co-host Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, who had already won three awards, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean.
