Marathon bomber search results in Richey show cancellation
Friday, April 19, 2013 – Kim Richey was slated to play Club Passim in Cambridge, Mass. tonight, but the show was canceled due to the search for the Marathon bomber.
Club Passim tweeted,"With Cambridge on lockdown, we are canceling tonight's Kim RIchey show. All tickets will be refunded and we are working on a reschedule date. Stay safe, everyone."
Gov. Deval Patrick told people in communities in the Boston area, including Cambridge, to stay inside their homes and lock their doors while the search for Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev continues. Watertown, which borders Cambridge, is the focal point of the search.
Richey released "Thorn in My Heart" on Tuesday and was schedule to play the club with Darden Smith.
