Aldean plays marathon bombing benefit
Friday, May 3, 2013 – Jason Aldean will play at a benefit for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing along with Aerosmith, Boston and the J Geils Band.
Aldean is the lone country act on the bill, which will be May 30 at TD Banknorth.
Jimmy Buffett, Dane Cook, Extreme, Godsmack, Carole King, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor and Steven Wright also will play along with special guests.
The concert was announced today.
Aldean also will play two shows in July at a sold-out Fenway Park.

Jason Aldean's 10th studio album "Georgia "initially seems like yeoman's effort. As the second half of a double album that follows last year's "Macon," the collection boasts 30 songs; 20 are new.
