Thursday, May 16, 2013 – THE FARM will take part in Southwest Airlines’ Live at 35 concert series, performing on their Taylor Guitars at 35,000 feet to passengers on a flight traveling from Phoenix to San Diego on May 17.

The midair show is part of the 2013 Travelin’ Taylor Tour series with actts playing on custom Southwest-themed GS Mini guitars.

THE FARM was chosen by Southwest as one of the first acts to participate for the 2013 season, after the series kick-off Monday, May 13. Past performers on Southwest Airline flights include ZZ Ward, Youngblood Hawke, Vicci Martinez, Delta Rae, Eric Hutchinson and Hedley.

Fans not traveling on the flight can still view THE FARM’s performance on Southwest Airline’s blog, Nuts About Southwest and the Taylor Guitars Blog.

CD review - The Farm The Farm seem constructed to touch all bases. The two-male (Nick Hoffman and Damien Horne) one female (Krista Marie, a former Broken Bow artist) line-up come up with a bunch of generally big sounding, commercially viable songs. Home Sweet Home, the trio's charting single, merges vocal interplay, an ever present fiddle, courtesy of Hoffman (Kenny Chesney's fiddler for 10 years), and a lot of big chord guitar work. They tend to repeat the formula throughout the 11 songs. ...
