Pope debuts video Wednesday

Tuesday, July 16, 2013 – Cassadee Pope will world premiere the new music video for her debut country single, Wasting All These Tears, on CMT and CMT.com on Wednesday.

The 24-hour, exclusive will take fans on a journey of a broken relationship. Subsequent re-airs will be promoted across all of CMT's digital platforms and social media fans. The video will air across VEVO on Thursday as well.

Shot in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, director Brian Lazzaro immediately foreshadows a story of surviving a painful discovery.

The song is Pope's first Republic Nashville single and went to number one on the iTunes Country Singles Chart upon release. Her disc is due in October, produced by Dann Huff, Nathan Chapman and Max Martin.

Pope won The Voice for season 3 of the NBC hit show as a member of Team Blake (Shelton).

Pope currently is touring with Rascal Flatts. She makes her Grand Ole Opry debut tonight.
