Martin, Brickell, SCR visit World Cafe
Friday, July 26, 2013 – Steve Martin and Edie Brickell appear today, along with The Steep Canyon Rangers, on NPR's World Cafe with host David Dye.
They will be on WXPN's World Cafe to discuss and perform material from their new album "Love Has Come For You." The session will air at 2 p.m. eastern and then stream at www.worldcafe.org.
Martin and Brickell along with The Steep Canyon Rangers are currently on tour playing across North America earning rave reviews along the way.

Much as the duo of Steve Martin and Edie Brickell are reaching toward each other on their second album's cover, their second pairing bridges musical spectrums. Unfortunately, not entirely successfully.
Acoustic sounding - fresh, uncluttered, and lively - but distinctly pop oriented - less narrative-based than even their last recording "Love Has Come For You" - "So Familiar" expands their sound further afield. Less Americana, more polished, MOR fare. ...
