– Eli Young Band said today it would headline the Drunk Last Night Fall/Winter Tour with special guest Eric Paslay for about 30 shows.
Select dates will also feature Warner Brother's Josh Abbott Band and other artists to be announced.
After spending the summer touring the nation with Kenny Chesney, performing in football stadiums and arenas, EYB will hit the road once again as a headliner starting Oct. 3 in Kansas City and ending in mid December.
"The Chesney Tour was an incredible experience and a really good time. Now its time to go out and do what we do best once again," said Mike Eli. "It'll be nice to blow the dust off of some of the old stuff."
The band hand-picked EMI's Eric Paslay as its opener for the tour. Paslay co-wrote EYB's most recent chart topper Even If It Breaks Your Heart.
Paslay has penned several chart toppers in the last 18 months and is currently on the charts with Friday Night.
"Eric is a great guy to have out on the road and his music fits in perfectly with ours," said Jon Jones of EYB. "He has always found a way to win over crowds when we have had him out in the past, and it doesn't hurt that he is one of the best songwriters in Nashville. It's going to be a fun party."
The band's single Drunk Last Night from their forthcoming album is currently impacting radio stations nationwide and was most added the first week on the charts. The video for the song will be released to CMT and GAC within the month.

Eli Young Band confused, alienated and even lost some of its fans with the 2015 release of a fully slicked up pop EP; "Turn It On." "The fans wanted another record that was the sound and the kind of songs that were the old-school Eli Young Band" said lead singer Mike Eli. They have responded with "Fingerprints," their first full length album since 2014's "10,000 Towns." Though clearly not as blatantly pop as the downright danceable EP, ...
With the release of "Turn It On," the Eli Young Band brings new music about girls, love, and...disco.
Singer Mike Eli, who co-wrote all four songs, is in fine voice, solidifying the EYB sound. The title cut, written with co-founder James Young, with its strong beat and up-front vocals, is tailor-made for listening while driving fast. With its "driving" beat and sing-along chorus, speeding tickets may increase.
