Moore gladly takes the long road
Tuesday, September 10, 2013 – Nominated for his first CMA Award in the "New Artist Of The Year" category, Kip Moore was predictably happy.
"It's been a long road," he said. "I think back on the thousands of hours of songwriting and hundreds of thousands of miles we've logged on the road...I wouldn't trade any of that for the quick and easy route. I've learned so much, and I'm truly honored to be up for the CMA's 'New Artist Of The Year' Award," said Moore. "I have to admit...this is also a little extra inspiration for us as we finish up the next album."
Last year, Moore enjoyed the best selling debut country album of 2012, which spawned the Platinum, two week chart-topping hit Somethin' 'Bout A Truck, followed by the hits Beer Money and Hey Pretty Girl.
