Strait wins CMA biggest honor
Wednesday, November 6, 2013 – George Strait took the biggest honor of the night - the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year award.
The veteran strode to the stage in jeans and black cowboy hat atop his head. Looking at the trophy, Strait received big applause from the crowd. "Oh my gosh," said. "Never in a million years. Thank you so much.My dad's been having some pretty good conversations up there...This blows me away. I just cannot believe it."
"I'm just so thrilled even to be nominated again," said Strait.
After thanking his label and family, Strait said, "Thank you so much. This means the world to me."
