Church debuts at the top
Wednesday, February 19, 2014 – Eric Church's "The Outsiders" is the top selling CD in the country as the disc sold 288,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
This marked the biggest selling sales week of the year for any CD.
"The outsiders," Church's fourth disc, is his second number one. His last studio album, "Chief" in 2011, debuted with 145,000 units sold.
Church had the only country CD in the top 10. The charts will be officially released on Thursday.
