Adkins' wife files for divorce

Wednesday, March 26, 2014 – Tracy Adkins' wife filed for divorce on Tuesday, Nashville station WSMV reported.

Rhonda Adkins filed the paperwork Tuesday afternoon in Williamson County, citing "irreconcilable differences." She also sought primary custody of the couple's three children and for Trace Adkins to pay child support, alimony and her legal fees.

The couple has been married for 16 years.

This follows a rough stretch for Adkins where he was in rehabilitatioin and his father passed away.
