Young requires surgery

– After accidentally cutting his left hand with a kitchen knife while at home Thursday night, Chris Young underwent surgery in Nashville Thursday to repair damaged tendons.
As a result of the injury and surgery, the 28-year old canceled his LP Field Friday at CMA Music Festival in Nashville. Young, who was released from the hospital Friday, is expected to fully heal and will return to playing guitar following his recovery and rehabilitation.
