Monroe release from hospital following kidney infection

Monday, July 14, 2014 – Ashley Monroe was discharged from a Nashville area hospital on Sunday after being admitted for a severe kidney infection on Friday.

This morning, Monroe said, "I'm finally feeling some relief after spending two nights in the hospital. I'm very grateful to everyone for their prayers and understanding during this time."

Monroe will resume performing on July 18 in Cincinnati, July 19 in Ashland, Ky. and July 20 in Brooklyn, Mich. She had to cancel performances over the weekend.
