EYB names openers for stadium shows

Thursday, August 28, 2014 – Eli Young Band announced today the opening acts for its Annual House Party, including Gary Allan and Pat Green.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday Aug. 29, for both the Nov. 8 date at Globe Life Park in Arlington and the Nov. 15 concert at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

The Nov. 8 concert will feature Allan and Green. Cody Johnson will play as well. He has charted in Texas with "Nobody to Blame," "Texas Kind of Way" and "Pray for Rain." Kicking off the night of music will be Texas and Oklahoma female duo Maddie & Tae, whose Dot Records' debut single "Girl In a Country Song" has gained airplay and press.

Josh Abbott Band, Thomas Rhett and Johnson will play the Houston show. Abbott is on Atlantic Records and has enjoyed six number one songs on the Texas chart. Rhett, has scored back-to-back number one hits with the Platinum-certified "It Goes Like This" and Gold-certified "Get Me Some of That."

Tickets for each of the two shows start at $25 and will go on sale tomorrow. Prices increase oin Sept. 15. For the Nov. 8 show in Arlington, tickets are available at TexasRangers.com/eliyoungband. For the Nov. 15 show in Houston, tickets are at ticketmaster.com.
