Clark signs with Warner

– Brandy Clark, who gained acclaim for her release "12 Stories" last year, said Monday she signed with Warner.
,P>Clark, who also helped write Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart" with Kacey Musgraves, and "Better Dig Two" for The Band Perry, had been on Slate Creek Records. Clark is currently nominated for New Artist of the Year and Song of the Year (for co-writing Musgraves' "Follow Your Arrow), for this year's CMA Awards, where she will also present.
"I am thrilled to be working with (Warner President) Dan McCarroll and the Warner Bros. LA staff," said Clark. "I'm so lucky to have a musical home that embraces and encourages originality and creativity. I'm so excited to be making music with them and look forward to this next step in my career."
"Brandy is an accomplished songwriter, well-regarded in the country music scene and with multiple number one singles under her belt," said McCarroll. "I speak for the entire Burbank team when I say how thrilled we are to welcome such a gifted country artist into the Warner Bros. Records family. Clark is currently touring the as part of Eric Church's Outsiders Tour.
There was no word on when Warner would release music from Clark.
