Thanks Brad, It's a boy for Carrie

Thursday, November 6, 2014 – It will be a boy for Carrie Underwood or were fellow co-host of the Country Music Association awards Brad Paisley and Underwood joking?

And she has Paisley to blame for announcing the sex.

During their patter on the show, Paisley asked Underwood to whisper to him what sex the baby was. She whispered something to him.

A few minutes later, the two were talking about Garth Brooks when Paisley said, "Hey! We could name him Garth!"

Paisley responded, "Hashtag, Brad blew it."

Underwood announced in September that she and hockey playing husband Mike Fisher were having a baby in 2015.

The string of great fortune turned sharply in 2017, when Underwood began the unfathomable experience of three consecutive lost pregnancies. This was atop a frightening fall at her home that ended with her face in nearly 50 stitches. Sharing these moments with her fans makes the beamingly-beautiful singer ...
