Hale plans first tour

Tuesday, December 2, 2014 – Lucy Hale will headline a run of dates in January and February in support of her debut album, "Road Between," her first tour.

The tour kicks off Jan. 29 in Boston with RCA Records Nashville singer/songwriter Josh Dorr as the opening act. "It's been a dream come true for me to have released my first album this year," shared Hale. "To be able to hit the road and perform is so exciting. I look forward to seeing everyone in 2015."

Hale performed during last week's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and appeared on last night's "CMA Country Christmas" where she performed the original song, "Mistletoe," alongside Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes, Little Big Town and Jennifer Nettles.

The Memphis born and bred singer's debut album, "Road Between," was released by DMG Nashville on June 3.

CD review - Road Between It's fascinating to hear how much more country Lucy Hale sounds once Joe Nichols sings along with her during their duet, "Red Dress." For the most part, though, actress/singer Hale sounds like countless other mainstream female artists, which is mainstream country generic. Listening to "Road Between" makes one especially appreciate female singers like Miranda Lambert and Reba - ones that can't ever quite get the twang out of their singing voices. ...
