Sam Bush hosts IBMA show

Monday, August 13, 2007 – Mandolin ace Sam Bush will host the International Bluegrass Music Awards Oct. 4 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

"I am excited to be asked to host this year's IBMA Awards Show," Bush said. "Bluegrass is and has always been an important part of my life and the foundation of the music I play. I love the music, the pickers and the fans. It's an honor and a thrill. I'm psyched!"

The IBMA are determined by the professional membership of the association and recognize outstanding achievement in the bluegrass genre. The show is syndicated to more than 300 radio stations around the world, and will be broadcast live on XM Satellite Radio.
