Lady A's Scott survives bus fire
Thursday, April 16, 2015 – Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum survived a fire, which gutted her tour bus this morning.
Scott posted a message on the band's Facebook page, "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary."
There was no word about the cause of the blaze.
The trio was on its way to the Academy of Country Awards, which is being held Sunday in Arlington, Texas at Cowboys Stadium.
