Country Thunder wins ACM Fest of Year
Sunday, April 19, 2015 – Country Thunder USA: East was named Festival of the Year at the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.
Country Thunder is based in Twin Lakes, Wis. The ACM Industry Awards, voted on by the Academy's professional members, honor the behind-the-scenes industry professionals and venues. Industry Award winners will be honored at the 9th Annual ACM Honors event on Sept. 1 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
"Everyone at Country Thunder is so thankful to the Academy of Country Music and all of the voters for this prestigious award," said Troy Vollhoffer, executive producer of Country Thunder. "It's an honor to be named alongside the nominees and winners, which include the best venues, promoters and clubs in the industry."
