Vocal cord issues force Lambert to postpone show

Monday, July 13, 2015 – Miranda Lambert looks to continue her touring schedule on Friday after canceling a show last week in Canada due to vocal cord issues.

"I can't believe this is happening," Lambert said on her web site. "I am sure most of you heard the news about the show in Calgary having to be rescheduled due to my vocal issues. Thanks for all your posts and well wishes, I promise I will do everything to get better quickly!"

Lambert was slated to perform at the Scotia Bank Saddledome concert scheduled for Thursday. She will return for the show at a date to be determined.

Lambert is schedule to resume touring on July 17 in Minot, N.D.

"I am so sorry that I can't be at Stampede this week, but I'll be back in Calgary just as soon as I can for all of my Stampede fans," said Lambert.

"We understand that this news is disappointing for fans," said Paul Rosenberg, Chief Operating Officer. "We will know more about rescheduling the concert later; in the meantime, we hope that fans use their tickets for admission to Stampede and enjoy all that we have to offer - including live country music at Nashville North."

CD review - Platinum Cynics might think that Miranda Lambert is presumptuous in entitling her fifth disc "Platinum" and, in effect, assuming she'll get her plaque for selling 1 million units. CD review - Revolution Every once in a while an album comes along that restores your faith in mainstream country music. Miranda Lambert's "Revolution" is just such a recording. It's not revolutionary, as the title might suggest. Instead, this CD is chock full of topnotch songs that are both memorable and sincere and never sound slick or overproduced. (Come to think of it, such old school values as these may in fact be revolutionary around Nashville). Lambert vocalizes a bit like a little girl at ...
CD review - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Even though it sounds like a cliche from the big book of country songwriting, the truth is that, when the timing's right, a loser can end up being the biggest winner of all. Today's object lesson comes from Miranda Lambert and her sophomore album, the follow-up to her 2005 near-platinum debut, "Kerosene." Imagine for a moment if the then-19-year-old had actually taken the crown in 2003's Nashville Star and then been forced into the studio within weeks to be primped and ...
