Romano releases new disc

Friday, July 31, 2015 – Daniel Romano releases his first CD for New West, "If I've Only One Time Askin'," today. Romano, who is from Canada, mixes country, Americana and other sounds. Romano released "Come Cry With Me," on New West's emerging artist imprint Normaltown Records in 2013. Romano largely self-produced and self-performed the new disc in his hometown Welland. The title track, which is countrypolitan sounding, is the first single.

CD review - If the Only One Time Askin' Daniel Romano does not look very happy on the cover of his latest. The Canadian looks forlorn, sadness oozing as he peers into the distance with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. No wonder Romano is sad as the lead-off honky tonkin' countrypolitan "I'm Gonna Teach You."
