Tuesday, January 5, 2016 – Chris Stapleton's dizzying success since winning three CMA awards in November continues as he will be the musical guest of Saturday Night Live on Jan. 16.
Actor Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren in the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie, will be the guest host for the show, NBC announced via Tweet this afternoon.
Stapleton released his certified RIAA Gold debut solo album, "Traveller," which is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. Stapleton also received nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance (for the album's title track) at the Grammy Awards, which will be broadcast live on CBS from L.A.'s Staples Center on Monday, Feb, 15.
Stapleton was the surprise winner of three Country Music Association awards in November, which gave his sales a huge boost.
