Aldean wins ACM biggest honor
Sunday, April 3, 2016 – Jason Aldean won the big prize at the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music awards show on Sunday, Entertainer of the Year.
"I was just starting to think this one wasn't in the cards for me," Aldean said when he got onstage.
"I tell you what. I may be rough around the edges a little bit" he said, before adding how he was happy to be in the music business. "This is one of the best nights of my professional career." Aldean understandably was moved by the honor, starting to walk off the stage to a big bear hug from Luke Bryan, who was also nominated. Other nominees were Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks and Eric Church.
