Underwood ventures Down Under with Urban
Monday, April 11, 2016 – Carrie Underwood announced today she would join Keith Urban on his Australian ripCORD World Tour 2016 this fall.
Underwood will play shows on:
Tuesday, Dec. 6 Adelaide - Entertainment Centre
Thursday, Dec. 8 Melbourne - Rod Laver Arena
Saturday, Dec. 10 Canberra - GIO Stadium
Monday, Dec. 12 Sydney - Allphones Arena
Friday, Dec. 16-17 Brisbane - Entertainment Centre
Underwood recently extended her Storyteller Tour-Stories in the Round tour through this fall including stops in Los Angeles, Nashville and New York City.
This will be Underwood's third trip to Australia, having been there before for album promotion in 2011 and 2012. Underwood took her "Blown Away Tour" to Melbourne, Tamworth, Brisbane and Sydney - wrapping with two sold-out nights at the Sydney Opera House.

Carrie Underwood's gospel music album may not be traditional in the sense that she sings these songs the same way she heard them as a child growing up. However, on the traditional/modern country music spectrum, this album leans closer to traditional country music than just about anything Underwood's recorded. Underwood always sings well, no matter how her songs are arranged, but it's a true treat to hear that voice without much of the big production that usually accompanies it. ...
