Morris rides "80s Mercedes"

– With the success of her first single, "My Church," behind her, Maren Morris released a second single, "80s Mercedes" to country radio today.
The song was first released on Morris' EP last year and is included on her major label full-length CD, "Hero," which came out on June 3. The disc debuted at number 5 on the overall Billboard Top 200 chart, moving 37,000 units.
Morris plays on the third weekend of the Keith Urban ripCORD World Tour 2016 with shows in Orange Beach, Ala. and Tampa and West Palm Beach, Fla. this week.

Maren Morris, who had a huge pop hit with "The Middle," is never going to be anybody's ideal traditional country singer. Although, thankfully, there isn't anything that mind-numbingly beat-driven on her "GIRL" album, this is a full-length that will likely appeal as much to Morris' pop fans, as her country followers.
