Kix Brooks cooks on TV

Monday, August 29, 2016 – Kix Brooks will promote his new cookbook with national television appearances. "Cookin' It With Kix: The Art of Celebrating and The Fun of Outdoor Cooking" is available Aug. 30 through W Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson.

Brooks will kick off Labor Day weekend in New York City with his dishes on Today this Thursday before hosting Travel & Leisure's Facebook Live Chat at 2:30 p.m. Central. He will appear on Fox & Friends on Friday before returning to Nashville for an autograph book signing on Saturday at the Country Music Hall of Fame at 3 p.m. Brooks will be on hand for GAC Playlist on Sept. 8.

Brooks' book tells stories ranging from his childhood in Louisiana to days on the road with Brooks & Dunn.

Written with long-time radio producer and friend Donna Britt, the upcoming book includes more than 100 recipes showcasing Brooks' passion for all types of outdoor cooking, oftentimes with a flare of his Louisiana heritage highlighted, in family recipes.
