Brooks, Yearwood reveal Xmas album cover

Tuesday, October 11, 2016 – Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood revealed the album cover for "Christmas Togther" last night on Brooks' weekly Facebook series, "Inside Studio G."

The album, the first-ever duets collaboration from the couple, will be released on Nov. 11 by Pearl Records, Brooks' label. The collection will feature solo performances, duets and special guest appearances, including one from James Taylor.

The cover features the two holding each other. The album was announced on Saturday in a Facebook Live chat.

Brooks first talked about doing a Christmas album with Yearwood in January 2015. No reason was given for the delay.

This week, Brooks is teaming with Frito-Lay for the launch of his new single, taken from his upcoming studio album. A download code will be available on a select number of Fritos corn chips bags where fans will have access to the song for the first time starting on Oct. 13.

The title of the new disc will be announced this Saturday, Oct. 15 during the SEC Game of the Week on CBS. A song from the disc, "Pure Adrenaline," has been used as part of their game coverage. Brooks will share the album cover next week as part of "Inside Studio G" on Monday, Oct. 17.

CD review - Every Girl: Deluxe Trisha Yearwood's reissue of 2019's "Every Girl" as a deluxe edition with three new songs makes sense on some level. CD review - Gunslinger If naming your release "Gunslinger," you'd better let it rip and go for a harder country sound, especially if donning a black cowboy hat on the cover. The reality does not exactly match that sentiment for Garth Brooks, but at times he comes mighty close. The high points for Brooks are the three most traditional country songs - a couple of honky tonkers ("Honky-Tonk Somewhere" and "Cowboys and Friends") and a ballad ("Whiskey to Wine"). ...
CD review - PrizeFighter: Hit after Hit Trisha Yearwood is better known these days for being on the Food Network for her cooking show and publishing cookbooks plus being Mrs. Garth Brooks than she is for her own recording career. "Prizefighter" is a greatest hits collection plus with 10 hits and 6 new songs, going all the way back with her career song and debut single, "She's in Love With the Boy," which still resonates 23 years later. There are the upbeat ("XXXs and OOO's" and "Heaven, ...
