A Thousand Horses heads east

Tuesday, November 22, 2016 – A Thousand Horses is heading to England for a short four-date tour starting in late November.

The dates include a 'Live Cut To Vinyl' event at the legendary Metropolis studios on Dec. 3. The band will be recording six tracks live straight onto vinyl, which will include a mixture from their debut, "Southernality" as well as new music.

ATH recently released a video for "Travelin' Man," which is the latest single to be taken from the debut album. It follows the previous single, the title track, and "Smoke."

The band first played England at this year's C2C festival at the 02.

Tour dates are:
Nov. 30 - London, O2 Academy Islington
Dec. - Manchester, O2 Academy
Dec. 2 - Planet Rockstock
Dec. 3 - Metropolis Live Cut To Vinyl Event

CD review - Southernality If you hadn't bothered to look at the album jacket and know that it was A Thousand Horses putting its stamp on the music, you'd think Keith Richards was handling the guitar riffs of the opening "First Time." Not to mention the wailing female backing vocals several minutes in. While it's not the first (or last) time, anyone has heard these riffs, at least A Thousand Horses has the musical chops.
