Hunt drops new song

Monday, January 2, 2017 – Sam Hunt dropped a new song, "Drink Too Much," on Sunday.

Hunt posted on his Twitter feed "Redemption. New music - Drinkin' Too Much" with a link to the new song. The track combines spoken vocals with a bit of a slow, somewhat jazzy, somewhat hip hop beat. The song describes his success, while a female fails to do the same.

The song is his first in two years with Hunt having hits off his debut, "Montevallo," including "Breakup In A Small Town" and "Make You Miss Me."

Hunt has gained some acclaim as a song writer, having penned Kenny Chesney's "Come Over," Keith Urban's "Cop Car" and Billy Currington's "We Are Tonight." Hunt fits in perhaps only because of the crossover sounds ...
