Monday, January 23, 2017 – Luke Bryan will sing the National Anthem as part of Super Bowl LI pregame festivities at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, February 5, the NFL and FOX announced today.

The Super Bowl is the most-watched television program.

Others who have sung the National Anthem include Garth Broks, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Renee Fleming, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Whitney Houston, Harry Connick Jr., Natalie Cole, Vanessa Williams, Luther Vandross, Cher, Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles and Christina Aguilera.

Bryan also announced he will join his friend Blake Shelton for the upcoming season of The Voice. Bryan will mentor Shelton's Team Blake members as they compete for a record deal.

Bryan will help Shelton by guiding his aspiring singers through the battle rounds, in which they compete against one another to retain a spot on Shelton's team before facing off with the finalists from the other teams. Bryan taped his episodes in Los Angeles last week. The two previously co-hosted the ACM Awards together several times.
