High Valley member becomes dad
Monday, April 10, 2017 – High Valley's Curtis Rempel became a day again.
Rempel, one-half of High Valley with his brother, Brad, welcome baby girl Millie June to the family on Friday, April 7, joining big brother Ben, 3.
Rempel revealed on the news on High Valley's Instagram account today. The family will enjoy a few quiet days at home before High Valley return to the road for headlining and festival shows.
The Rempels were raised in Crete, Alberta, Canada, releasing religious music before entering the country scene. The duo recently released their major label debut, "Dear Life," on Atlantic/Warner Nashville and had had some success with the single "Make You Mine."

If there's one thing that the Canadian outfit High Valley knows how to do is to stay in their lane. The Rempel brothers duo is now down to one after Curtis amicably split from the band. The band is known for its unique bluegrass-infused contemporary country, and their sixth album bounces along playfully from start to finish. Thematically, the brief 37-minute, 13-song collection checks many of the country music boxes.
