Bradbery shows "Potential"
Dropping Dec. 1, Bradbery already released the first single "Sway." Bradbery also released a companion video of "Potential. Bradbery previously released "Human Diary" and "Hello Summer."
"When I wrote it, the other girl in the writing room threw out the idea that 'I'm not in love with you, but with your potential,'" Bradbery said to People of Emily Weisband. "Our jaws dropped to the floor. It's a beautiful but sad meaning people can relate to immediately... So we kept it as simple as possible and reflective."
"Potential" is the second of the seven songs on the 10-song album that Bradbery co-penned to be released. Bradbery released her debut album in 2013 after winning NBC's The Voice at age 17.
Written by Bradbery, Johan Lindbrant and Weisband, "Potential" captures the feeling of being in love with the thought of who someone could be rather than who that person actually is.
