Urban wins big at AMAs
Saturday, November 18, 2017 – Keith Urban was the big winner at the American Music Awards on Sunday, taking three awards.
Urban won Favorite Male Artist - Country over Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett. Urban also took Favorite Album - Country for "Ripcord" over Jason Aldean's "They Don't Know" and "From a Room, Vol. 1" from Chris Stapleton.
The Favorite Song - Country was Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color." Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" and Jon Pardi's "Dirt on My Boots" also were nominated.
Carrie Underwood took the Favorite Female Artist - Country over Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris.
The Favorite Duo or Group - Country was Little Big Town over Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion.
