Nelson, Robison/Willis, Millers, Watson, Lauderdale drop new sounds
Nelson is out with "Ride Me Back Home," an 11-song disc produced by Buddy Cannon. Nelson, 86, wrote three songs with Cannon, who also produces Kenny Chesney. Nelson covers a few Guy Clark songs including "A Picture of You."
Robison and Willis release "Beautiful Lie," a traditionally based country disc from the Texas artists. They cut the disc at Robison's studio.
The Millers are out with their first joint release in 10 years with "Breakdown on 20th Ave. South." It follows "Written in Chalk.' Buddy Miller produced the dozen-song release.
Lauderdale continues being prolific with his 32nd album, "From Another World." The singer/songwriter co-produced with bassist Jay Weaver.
Aaron Watson continues his indie career with "Red Bandana." The 20-song collection, all written solely by Watson who co-produced the project with Jordan Lehning, marks his 20th year in music Watson's last studio album was "Vaquero."
