Nelson cancels shows
Thursday, August 8, 2019 – Willie Nelson was forced to cancel at least three shows due to illness.
"I'm sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out," Nelson posted on his website. "I'll be back."
A later post on Facebook said, "Willie is resting and feeling better. The tour will resume on September 6 in Gilford, NH. Thanks to all the fans for the continued support!"
Nelson canceled shows in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Friday; Huntington, West Va. on Saturday and Florence, S.C. on Monday. All shows were with Allison Krauss.
Krauss has suffered illnesses in recent years, causing him to cancel shows.
