Hot Country Knights calls off tour
Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – Add Hot Country Knights to the list of artists will not tour due to coronavirus.
"Tour's postponed. Thanks a lot Doug," the group posted on Facebook.
The group was slated to hit the road starting April 7 in San Diego, with stops at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theater, Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Boston's House of Blues and Talladega Superspeedway.
Doug is the alter ego of Dierks Bentley, who fronts Hot Country Knights. The band also includes members of his band, performing as an '80s styled band. The group has released a single, "Pick Her Up," which features Travis Tritt. The song was penned by Brett Beavers, Jim Beavers and Bentley.
Hot Country Knights will release its debut, "The K is Silent," on May 1 on Capitol Records Nashville.

"Hot Country Knights" is Dierks Bentley as you've never experienced him before. At least when it comes to the lyrics. Hot Country Knights - the alter ego of Bentley (aka Douglas "Doug" Douglason - he's one in the middle of the hair raising cover) and his regular band - is a country hair act that supposedly pays homage to country from the '90s.
But that would be selling this 10-song collection of some of the best straight-ahead country music you might hear ...
