Willie and sister tell "True Tales"

Monday, June 22, 2020 – Willie Nelson and his sister, Family band member Bobbie Nelson, authored a book, "Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of the Family Band," which will come out on Sept. 15.

The memoir is about the bond between Willie Nelson and his only sibling.

After being abandoned by their parents as very young children, this dual memoir, told in alternating chapters, weaves together their journeys.

The book will be published as a Random House hardcover. This will be at least Nelson's 10th book.

A picture book by the Nelsons, written with Chris Barton, tentatively titled "Sister, Brother, Family: Our Childhood in Music," is scheduled for a fall 2021 publication.

While many of Nelson's recent works ...
CD review - Ride Me Back Home Time may be an enemy to most, but Willie Nelson seems a bit impervious to its ravages - a fact made evident on "Ride Me Back Home," a relaxed affair that showcases Nelson's still-strong voice and his sharp-as-ever songwriting and interpreting abilities. "Ride Me Back Home" is his 13th album for Legacy Recordings since joining the label in 2012 and coincidentally, it is also the 13th collaboration between Nelson and noted producer Buddy Cannon. This partnership, which ...
