Parker goes for adds with "While You're Gone"
Tuesday, May 11, 2021 – Drew Parker has enjoyed writing hits for others, but he's hoping he has one for himself. His major label debut single, "While You're Gone," goes for adds at radio on May 24.
Parker helped write Luke Combs' "1, 2 Many" and current single "Forever After All" as well as Jake Owen's number one hit "Homemade."
"While You're Gone," the title track of Parker's latest EP, was co-written with Jameson Rodgers.
Parker is currently touring with label mate Cody Johnson, stopping in Arkansas and Louisiana this weekend. He joined the first three weeks of Combs' What You See Is What You Get tour alongside Ashley McBryde last year until COVID-19 intervened. He expects to resume remaining dates in August.
