Cobb, Wade, Maddie & Tae, Lewis release music
Virginia native Morgan Wade started making a name for herself with the March 2021 release of "Reckless," which contains the radio hit "Wilder Days." Now the big voiced singer is out with a deluxe edition of 16 songs on a major label, including the single "The Night" and a cover of Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds." The release was co-produced by Jason Isbell + the 400 Unit Guitarist Sadler Vaden and Paul Ebersold.
The duo of Maddie & Tae are out with their EP "Through the Madness, Vol. 1." The eight-song collection includes "Don't Make Her Look Dumb" with Morgane Stapleton, who sings with her husband, Chris, and "The Other Side" with Lori McKenna. The duo said, ""This project is the product of finding and focusing on the beauty, love, growth, strength and wisdom you gain through the madness if you look for it. Through the chaos of these past couple of years, especially these past couple of months for us, we learn time and time again that love is enough to carry us through. May this be a giant hug and hand for you to hold through the madness." Tae just gave birth earlier this month following complications.
Veteran singer Aaron Lewis released "Frayed at Both Ends." The 13-song release includes the song "Call Me a Doc," which features Vince Gill and Dan Tyminski. Lewis co-produced with Ben Kitterman and Ira Dean, who was one third of Trick Pony.
Tracy Lawrence marked his 30th anniversary making music last year. His capsule collection project, "Hindsight 2020," consists of three volumes that revisit some of his greatest hits along with all-new material. The third and final volume, "Hindsight 2020, Volume 3: Angelina" is out today. "Angelina" was released as the first single. The release also contains "Paint Me A Birmingham," "Alibis," Time Marches On" and "Sticks and Stones."
"Rod + Rose" is the debut from Rodney Atkins and Rose Falcon, who also happen to be husband and wife. The release contains five songs. Atkins has enjoyed a longstanding solo career, while Falcon has penned songs for Lady A and Eric Paslay. The couple married in 2013.

CD reviews for Brent Cobb
Brent Cobb sounds like an old country gospel singer while doing his version of "Old Rugged Cross," backed by gospel quartet-sounding backing vocals. Many of these accompanying vocalists are family members, and gospel music is in Cobb's blood. Furthermore, Cobb has said it's "like a rite of passage country singers to make a gospel album." So, for Cobb, this album feels necessary.
Although Cobb has always wanted to make a gospel album, a near-death auto accident was ...
Not sure we've seen the term 'minimalist country' but that's a fair description for Brent Cobb's artistry, especially on "Keep 'Em On They Toes," one that he prefers to call 'quiet and conversational.' His fourth album is certainly reflective as Cobb and his family moved back to his native Georgia a few years ago. The locale seems to suit him, and it's at the heart of these 10 songs where he chooses to write about his thoughts and feelings as ...
Brent Cobb is an unpretentious sort of guy, and that in itself makes him an unusual entity in an entertainment arena built on flash and sparkle. That at least is the attitude he purveys on "Shine on Rainy Day," an album that takes its cues from everyday aspirations. The songs center on the simpler things that affect us all, whether the solace of living life in the country or the everyday challenges that all too often take a toll. It's that ying and yang that that's most ...
