Hull hits the road

Tuesday, August 30, 2022 – Sierra Hull will hit the road for headlining shows throughout September and October with support from Lindsay Lou or Taylor Rae.

The tour includes the premiere of a special commissioned piece written for the FreshGrass Festival in North Adams, Mass. on Sept. 23. Hull will wrap the year as a featured guest with Cory Wong (Vulfpeck) in November and Béla Fleck's My Bluegrass Heart in December.

CD review - Weighted Mind It has been nearly five years since Sierra Hull released a record. 2012's "Daybreak" (also on Rounder) featured startling mandolin playing by Hull and a strong, but still tentative, vocal style.
