Doleac fans get more than they bargained for in Boston

Saturday, February 25, 2023 – Fans attending the Adam Doleac show in Boston on Saturday may have gotten a little more than they expected - an engagement on stage.

While introducing the song "Another" mid-way through the set at the packed club, Doleac said this was maybe people's first dance at their wedding. A smattering of fans raised their hands to acknowledge that.

In looking for a couple to come on stage, Doleac said, "We don't do this every night. There's a couple that I received a message from earlier tonight by the name of Kevin and Kelsey. Do we have a Kevin and Kelsey in the house."

"Kevin and Kelsey make some noise everybody," as the couple jumped on the stage.

"Kelsey got in touch with me on the side, and she said, 'listen, tonight, we love you. We love your music. We love this song. It would mean a lot to me if you would dedicate this to my boyfriend, Kevin."

"But Kevin also got in touch with me," Doleac said.

With that, Kevin got on his knees, while Kelsey covered her face with her hands as he opened a box with an engagement ring inside. "She said yes," Doleac said. The couple embraced and Doleac came over to give them hugs as well.

"Just let them dance for a minute," Doleac said while the newly engaged couple slow danced.

This was part of Doleac's first-ever headlining tour, the Barstool Whiskey Wonderland Tour.
