"Something's Gotta Give" for Shellhart

Thursday, April 6, 2023 – Jordyn Shellhart will release the song "When Something's Gotta Give" this Friday.

This is the third offering off her forthcoming label-debut album "Primrose, " out May 19.

Shellhart co-wrote "When Something's Gotta Give" with Marc Beeson and Allen Shamblin, the same songwriters that she wrote her debut song "Who Are You Mad At" which released Jan. 27.

"Primrose" is produced by Cameron Jaymes and boasts 12 songs of which Shellhart co-wrote nine and self-penned three.

Born in Wyoming and ultimately ending up in Nashville at the age of 10, Shellhart, now 29, scored a publishing deal at 14, followed by a record deal, Grand Ole Opry debut at 15 and on a country-wide tour by 16.

Shellhart has earned songwriting credits, including Little Big Town's Grammy-nominated "Sugar Coat" and songs recorded by Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson and Don Williams.
