`McCreery touts "Love Like This"
The song, released via Thirty Tigers, is about his son, Avery, and wife, Gabi.
"Becoming a father is the greatest thing that's happened to me," said McCreery. "Raising Avery as he grows and watching my wife Gabi be a rock star as his mom has been the joy of my life these last 15 months. I knew I wanted to write a song about Avery. I even photographed the room number on the hospital door so I could put that into the lyrics."
Written by McCreery, Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis and produced by Rogers, Derek Wells, and Eshuis, the song includes the lines:
When I first laid eyes on you, that's when I knew
I've never known a love like this, I've never felt this way
Girl, I think I might have thought I did
But everything changed today
'Cause I'm looking at you, looking at him
And I don't have a clue what this feeling is
But watching you give our baby boy a kiss
Now I know I've never known a love like this, no
McCreery is currently on his headlining Cab in a Solo Tour. His last album was 2021's "Same Truck," which yielded three hit singles - "Damn Strait, "You Time" and "It Matters to Her."

They will. This doesn't mean they're good, though, let alone meaningful. ...
Scotty McCreery's third release, "See You Tonight" is designed to market the season 10 American Idol champ as a more mature artist. Armed with songwriting heavies along with a guest vocal from Allison Krauss, it might work on paper.
