Childers' "Going Home" finally comes out
Recorded in 2015 for West Virginia Public Broadcasting's "Mountain Stage," the track is from a forthcoming compilation album, "Live On Mountain Stage: Outlaws & Outliers," which will be released April 19 via Oh Boy Records.
The release features performances from throughout the program's history, curated by show's co-founder and longtime host, Larry Groce.
Childers recently kicked off his "Mule Pull '24 Tour" with sold-out shows at Inglewood's Kia Forum, San Diego's Viejas Arena, Austin's Moody Center and Fort Worth's Dickies Arena.
Additional upcoming tour stops include New York's Madison Square Garden (two nights), Nashville's Bridgestone Arena (two nights), Chicago's United Center, Boulder, Col.'s Folsom Field and Washington State's Gorge Amphitheatre.
