Pearce "getting better every day"

Sunday, June 23, 2024 – Carly Pearce said Sunday she was feeling better in dealing with her heart issues.

Pearce disclosed on May 30 that she was dealing with a heart condition, pericarditis, which causes swelling and irritation of the thin, sac-like tissue surrounding the heart. The condition causes sharp chest pain.

The Kentucky native posted an update on X.

"A little health update! It's been a month since this crazy heart stuff happened & have learned a few things I felt like sharing.
1) you don't have to over exercise every single day to feel good
2) medication sucks!
3) walking is a great form of mental & physical exercise
4) mindset is everything
5) change is hard but can be a really good thing.

"For those of you asking - I'm getting better every day & feeling more like myself! I'll be running around like my usual self before you know it 😊❤️ thanks for all of the prayers. I have felt them every single day."

Pearce released the disc "hummingbird" earlier this month.

She opens with the breezy "Closer To You" and "Call Me. The album is chock full of notable co-write credits. On the latter, Little Big Town's Jim Westbrook and Phil Sweet have a hand. It feels like a love letter to fellow country singer and husband Michael Ray. Later on, she ratchets up the pop factor on a throwaway duet ...
